What do people like most about PUTIN?
– he is an experienced politician.
– he is an energetic, decisive and strong-willed man.
– he is a true leader capable of leading the people.
– he stands up for the interests of the state.
– he is a far-sighted politician.
about MEDVEDEV:
– he is an energetic, decisive and strong-willed man.
– he is personable.
– he stands up for the interests of the state.
– he is a man who ensures stability in the country.
– he can make compromises and unite disparate political forces.

What is it about PUTIN that the respondents do not like? That is, what undermines his rating?
– he has links with big capital.
– all his actions are aimed at boosting his own popularity.
– he has links with corrupt politicians.
– he does not identify himself with the interests of the people.
– he is not coping with the task of running the country.
MEDVEDEV’s negative characteristics are different:
– as a politician he lacks colour.

Moscow Court Recognizes Kavkaz Center Website As Extremist

Court in Moscow recognized Kavkaz Center, the news portal of a militant network in the North Caucasus, as extremist. The decision was made on the proposal of the General Prosecutor’s Office. Its representative Marina Gridneva said that following the court’s ruling, the website and materials posted on it will be added to federal list of extremist websites.

Pоссийская Aвиация Kатастрофическая – “Хуже Tолько B Африке”

Немецкий профсоюз пилотов Cockpit считает, что в сфере безопасности в российской гражданской авиации сложилась катастрофическая ситуация. “Хуже только в Африке”…главные проблемы – недостаточная профессиональная подготовка, устаревшие самолеты и нехватка денег на ремонт и профилактические работы. Самые серьезные проблемы испытывают небольшие аэропорты в провинции. Подготовка диспетчеров также оставляет желать лучшего.
Если говорить о провинции.. никто не знает английского.

Есть и еще одна юридическая особенность: российские метеорологи несут личную ответственность за прогнозы погоды. Поэтому они склонны проявлять консерватизм и нередко предсказывают более ненастную погоду, чем ожидается на самом деле, ссылаясь на возможный штормовой ветер или град.
